| Philippine Idol performance night opened with a lively production number from our remaining 9 finalists singing “A Night to Remember.” This week’s guest judge Luke Mijares joined them onstage towards the end of the song. Most of our finalists seem to have lost a little weight and are all looking quite good.

| Host Ryan Agoncillo was looking quite spiffy tonight with his coat and tie as he announced the theme of this week’s performances as songs that would show the lives of the contestants or songs that have special meaning to them at certain times in their lives. Our top 9 will definitely be singing songs that are close to their hearts and we expect them to give us some very moving performances.
